We retain personal information for as long as is necessary for the processing purpose(s) for which we originally collected it and for other business purposes explained in our Privacy Policy, above, and this Notice for California Residents. For example, the length of time that we retain each category of personal information will depend on a number of criteria, including (i) the length of time we are required to retain personal information in order to comply with our applicable legal and regulatory requirements, (ii) the length of time we may need to retain personal information in order to accomplish the purpose(s) for which such personal information is collected, used or disclosed, and (iii) whether you choose to exercise your privacy rights.
Your Rights and Choices
Right to Opt Out of Sales and Sharing
Some of the activities described above may be considered “sales” or “sharing” of your personal information. To opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, please submit a request by clicking on the "My Privacy Choices" link in our website footers or in our application settings or submitting a request here.
To opt out of sales or sharing via cookies and other trackers, please visit the Cookie Settings available in the footer of the Service. You may need to renew your opt-out choice if you visit the Service from a new Device or browser, or if you clear your cookies. You can also opt out by visiting the Service with a legally recognized opt-out signal enabled (such as Global Privacy Control). Our processing of the signal will be limited to sales or sharing for the specific browser or Device that you are using, so you will need to enable the signal on each browser or Device.
Right to Know, Correct, and Delete
You have the right to (1) request to know more about our collection and use of your personal information and access your personal information (the "right to know") , including the categories of personal information, the categories of sources from which the personal information is collected, the business or commercial purpose for collecting, selling, or sharing personal information, the categories of third parties to whom we disclose personal information, and the specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you; (2) request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exemptions (the "right to delete"), and (3) request correction of inaccurate personal information (the "right to correct").
To exercise your rights to know, delete, or correct described above, please submit a request by contacting us at 1-800-742-3191, option #5, or by submitting a request here. You may also access, modify, and delete certain information stored within your online account by logging into your account at any time.
We will confirm receipt of your request within ten (10) business days. If you do not receive confirmation within the 10-day timeframe, please contact us at 1-800-742-3191, option #5, or by email at marketingsupportline@theangeluscorp.com. We endeavor to substantively respond to a verifiable consumer request within forty-five (45) days of its receipt. If we require more time (up to another 45 days), we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing.
To verify your request, we may ask that you log into your account or provide us with your name, address, email address, and/or phone number. When you make a request, you will be asked to answer a few questions about yourself to help us verify your identity. You may be asked to log into your online account and complete a one-time passcode validation. In the event more documentation is necessary to verify your identity, we will notify you directly. We cannot respond to your request or provide you with personal information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the personal information relates to you. If we cannot verify your request within forty-five (45) days of its receipt, we may deny your request.
If you have an account with us, we will deliver our written response to that account. If you do not have an account with us, we will deliver our written response by mail or electronically, at your option. Any disclosures we provide will only cover the 12-month period preceding our receipt of your request, although we will honor requests to cover a longer period that do not extend past January 1, 2022, unless doing so would be impossible or involves disproportionate effort. The response we provide will explain any reasons we cannot comply with a request, if applicable. We do not charge a fee to process or respond to your verifiable consumer request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded. If we determine that the request warrants a fee, we will tell you why we made that decision and provide you with a cost estimate before completing your request. We will only use personal information provided in a verifiable consumer request to verify the requestor's identity or authority to make the request.
Nondiscrimination
You have the right to not be discriminated against for exercising any of your privacy rights.
Authorized Agents
Where required by law, you can designate an authorized agent to make an opt-out request on your behalf. You can also designate an authorized agent to submit an access, deletion, or correction request on your behalf. We may ask authorized agents to submit proof of their authority to make a request, such as a valid power of attorney or proof that they have signed permission from the consumer who is the subject of the request. In some cases, we may contact the individual who is the subject of the request to verify their own identity or confirm the authorized agent has permission to submit the request. If you are an authorized agent seeking to make an access, correction, or deletion request on behalf of a California resident, please submit the request by submitting a request here or calling our toll-free number at 1-800-742-3191, option #5.
ADMT
When a business uses automated decision-making technology ("ADMT") to make significant decisions about you, you may have rights to obtain certain information about how the business uses ADMT, that is specific to you (the "ADMT access right"), and opt-out of the ADMT use (the "ADMT opt-out right"), unless the business provides you with a method to appeal the decision to a human reviewer with the authority to overturn the decision (the "ADMT appeal right") or another exception applies.
ADMTs are technologies that process personal information and use computation to execute a decision and either replace or substantially replace human decision-making, resulting in decisions made without human involvement. Decisions are significant when they result in the provision or denial of financial or lending services, housing, education enrollment or opportunities, employment or independent contracting opportunities or compensation, or healthcare services. Advertising is not a significant decision.
We do not currently use ADMT to make significant decisions about consumers, so we do not provide ADMT access, opt-out, or appeal rights.
